Редд с самой первой минуты после рождения привлек внимание врачей цветом волос и бровей — они у него были абсолютно белого цвета. Сначала врачи решили, что это альбиниз, но даже у альбиносов волосы не столь белоснежные.
Да и у детей с подобным диагнозом есть и другие отклонения, как например, плохое зрение, тогда как Редд был совершенно здоров.
После долгих размышлений семья мальчика вспомнила, что у них есть еще один родственник с точной такой же внешностью — 85-летняя бабушка Патриция. Но, в отличие от Редда у Патриции был альбинизм.
Интересно, что у Патриции индийские корни.
Сейчас же уже прошло 9 лет и Редд вырос вполне здоровым ребенком, но белоснежный цвет его волос никак не изменился.
