Суть программы в том, что два артиста должны вместе исполнять песню, притом не видя друг друга и не зная, кто там за стеклом поет. Лишь после выступления они узнают имя своего партнера.
Скандал начался после выступления Ольги Бузовой с Татьяной Булановой, где артисты вместе исполнили песню Аллы Пугачевой «Сильная женщина».
Хотя с самого начала программы горела табличка «живой звук», да и продюсеры проекта утверждали, что все артисты будут петь вживую. Все же телезрители заметили, что Бузова пела под фонограмму. Это вызвало возмущение у многих.
Они потребовали у организаторов объясниться, почему у такой бездарности как Ольга есть привилегии не петь вживую, и почему вообще она участвует в подобном профессиональном музыкальном шоу? Телезрители потребовали убрать певицу и не обманывать народ.
