Режиссер долго искал актеров на главные роли и остановил свой выбор на 14-летней красавице Брук Шилдс и 18-летнем юноше по имени Кристофер Аткинс. И не прогадал. В эту пару влюбился весь мир.
Сейчас же уже прочти 40 лет спустя фильм все еще набирает миллионные просмотры за год, и стало интересно, что же стало с актерами «Лагуны».
Брук иногда все еще снимается, но она больше всего предпочитает посвящать свое время детям и внукам.
У Кристофера же бизнес — спортивные залы.
У обоих после «Голубой лагуны» больше значимых ролей не было, так мало того, оба дважды становились обладателями антинаграды «золотая малина» как самые худшие актеры.
И у Брук и у Кристофер были удачи лишь в модельном бизнесе. Кристофер еще и попробовал свои силы в роли режиссера.
