Этой талантливой актрисе уже 86 лет, но она еще до недавних пор продолжала сниматься. Ее последней картиной стала «Вагончик мой дальний» 2013 года.
Наталья великая актриса, в этом нет сомнения. Но она абсолютно никчемная мать. Фатеева была замужем 3 раза. От второго мужа режиссера Владимира Басова родила сына Владимира.
От третьего — космонавта Бориса Егорова дочь Наталью.
От Натальи Егоров отказался заявив, что она не от него. От первого брака с Леонидом Тарабариновым у Натальи тоже была дочь, но о ней актриса за всю жизнь ни разу так и не вспомнила.
Наталья не участвовала в воспитании ни сына, ни дочери — обоих растили либо бывшие мужья, либо ее родственники. А актриса в это время занималась своей карьерой. И даже когда ее 16-летняя дочь в 10-ом классе родила мальчика, Наталья насильно отняла ребенка у дочери и сдала его в детский дом. Сейчас ему уже 35 лет.
Отцом ребенка оказался сын какого-то кинорежиссера. Парень не знал о малыше, но забрал его к себе сразу же, как только вернулся из армии. Но не только с сыном дочери Фатеева отнеслась так бессердечно. Она долгое время не хотела видеть и внука от сына, хотя этот внук уже был рожден в браке.
Сейчас у Натальи и успешные дети, и внуки взрослые, однако ее никто не навещает и не горит желанием с ней общаться. Сама Фатеева во время интервью постоянно повторяет, что ни о чем не жалеет.
